Summer Showcase Weekly Scrimmages Clinics

Who are we?

Collegiate Crossover is dedicated to developing and preparing hockey players, their families, and teams for success at the college club hockey level. We go beyond skill development—our program teaches players what it takes to excel in college club hockey both on and off the ice. From refining game strategy and hockey IQ to navigating the demands of academics, travel, and team leadership, we prepare athletes for every aspect of the transition.

Through our summer sessions and showcases, we connect aspiring and current players with college programs, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and visibility needed to thrive at the next level. We take a holistic approach to player development to help them make the most out of their college hockey experience. Our programs bridge the gap between talent and opportunity by providing top-tier training, exposure, and education on the college and the club hockey experience.

Our founding team has decades of experience in college club hockey, coaching, and higher education leadership and teaching. Our founders include Leonardo Silva, Head Coach of Montgomery College, Matthew Krivitskiy, former captain and team president of University of Maryland Club Ice Hockey, Rob Keegan, former Penn State Club player and Hockey Director at MYHA, and David J. Miller, long time business school professor, academic center director, and youth hockey coach.

Leonardo Silva

Leonardo Silva is the head coach of the Montgomery College Ice Hockey team, leading the program with passion and strategic expertise. Under his leadership, the team has earned three playoff berths in four years, including two semifinal appearances, solidifying its reputation as a competitive force.

A former player for the South Muskoka Shield junior hockey club, Silva brings firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the game to his coaching. In addition to his role at Montgomery College, he has been actively involved in player development, coaching clinics for the Montgomery Youth Hockey Association (MYHA) and working alongside Rob Keegan to help young athletes refine their skills.

With a commitment to excellence and player growth, Silva continues to shape Montgomery College Ice Hockey into a formidable program while fostering the next generation of hockey talent.

Rob Keegan

MYHA full-time Hockey Director. Rob has a very strong hockey background, not to mention a love for the game and the kids who play it.  He played youth hockey in suburban Chicago and went on to play at a prep school in Massachusetts and at Penn State University, where he was twice named his league’s most valuable player.  He played a year of minor-league hockey and had a tryout with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Rob oversees the club’s total hockey operations.  He assembles and trains our coaching staff, develops curricula for each level in each program, provides professional skating and skill instruction for everyone in the Club and monitors the progress of our teams and coaches throughout the season.  Rob has been with MYHA since 1997.
